Introducing the SafePro Safety System
The SafePro system was developed in 1984 by Johann Oosthuizen who was the Senior Chief OHS inspector in the Western Cape and has been in use for the past 26 years;
Johan was one of the four chief inspectors that was involved in writing the Occupational Health & Safety Regulations act;
He assisted many institutions with health and safety legislation including Bernie Metys of NOSA;
All SafePro training courses are SETA & NQF Level 5 Accredited;
All our consultants have trained intensively under the guidance of Johan Oosthuizen;

How does the SafePro Safety System Work?
Once InterMed has conducted an initial assessment of core business processes evaluating for safety, efficiency and loss control, legal appointments of staff in the appropriate roles will be made. Training and development activities thereafter precede the core business process layout.

Monthly schedules are put up on Company notice boards for info.

Safety Checklists are allocated to all appointed team Members.

Each checklist has a required duty.

These duties are conducted daily – Approximately 15 minutes long.

All findings are written down on an schedule & actioned immediately.

Safety supervisors control the documentation.

Monthly audits and reports are generated for monitoring and evaluation and remedial purposes.
